Primo Double Glazing Limited - Headquartered in Chester, Cheshire and with a manufacturing unit and showroom in Wrexham, North Wales - specialises in the supply and installation of uPVC windows, doors, conservatories and roofline products.

Company History

The company was formed by Alan Roberts following the sale of Northern Glass, Wrexham - A highly successful double glazing installation firm, which Alan established and operated for over 35 years together with his brother Trevor (who now owns Thermofix Solutions, a Nationwide roof insulation installer).

Our high quality, service-based approach has helped satisfied customers throughout North Wales and the North West of England to create their ideal home and we pride ourselves on supplying only the finest quality uPVC products available from World leading manufacturers such as Rehau and Pilkington. With over 50 years combined experience in the industry, Managing Director Alan Roberts and Installations Manager Jon Smith are committed to ensuring that your uPVC windows, doors, conservatory or roofline products will be specified, supplied and installed to the highest possible standard and at unbeatable prices.

The Ordering & Installation Process

The process of buying windows, doors, a conservatory or roofline products from Primo Double Glazing couldn't be easier - from receiving your bespoke quotation from an experienced surveyor, right through to installation by our experienced installations team and our renowned after sales service, we aim to be professional, friendly and honest - Ensuring an enjoyable, stress-free experience. We know that satisfied customers are the most important asset for any business and this is why we receive so many recommendations from past customers.

We know that installing new windows, doors or a conservatory to your home is a big step, so we are here to help before, during and after the installation. From quotation right through to our renowned after-sales service, we take the greatest possible care to minimise disruption and make sure you understand exactly what's happening.

Quotation - Contact us and we'll arrange a visit from one of our surveyors. They'll talk you through the options, take some careful measurements and provide you with a free, no obligation quote.

Survey - If you're buying a conservatory we'll survey the site to check details like drainage and floor levels. We'll also apply for planning permission and building regulations on your behalf where necessary.

Manufacture - We'll source your windows, doors or conservatory from our first-rate suppliers (such as Rehau and Pilkington) to your exact personal specifications and to the very highest standards.

Installation - An expert team of fitters, with years of experience will install your products in the shortest possible time and with the least possible disruption.

Finishing Touches - We finish all jobs by checking all locks and fasteners are working correctly and walk you around the finished installation to make sure you are 100% satisfied with our products and workmanship. We respect your home and always ensure that all work areas are thoroughly cleaned and tidied.

After Sales Service - We don't stop working for you, even when the job's done. Our guarantees cover your entire product, and can be easily transferred to new owners should you decide to move.

Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme (FENSA)

In 2002 a new law was introduced to ensure that all new replacement windows and doors in the UK meet tough government standards for conservation of heat in the home, energy efficiency, fire escape functions, ventilation and disabled access – all in addition to existing Building Regulations. Primo Double Glazing joined FENSA to reassure our customers that every double glazed window, uPVC door or conservatory we install complies with these very high standards.
